According to the source, the former One Direction member is in the early negotiation stages of his contract. While nothing is confirmed yet, he may be the next actor to join Halle Bailey under the sea. Fans of the singer were excited at the news, tweeting their response.
“Now I hate to be basic but if Harry Styles plays Prince Eric I will literally become a fish,” said one Twitter user.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Styles “made his acting debut with Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan’s World War II drama that grossed over $526 million worldwide and collected several Oscars.” Recently, the actor was one of several up for the role of Elvis Presley in a Warner Brothers film. However, the part ultimately went to Austin Butler.
